It started sleeting last night around 7:00 and didn’t stop until the wee hours of the morning. At one time, it was sleeting WAY hard and the wind was blowing, and I worried our windows were going to break.
Here’s what I woke up to:
I’m glad I went to the gym yesterday. Aside from the awesome fact that I was hit on twice (which let me say again, was Awe to the Some!)…I’m sore today, which means I got in a good workout. And since I won’t be driving anywhere today, it’s good I managed to get some exercise in. I would do my pilates workout today, but the kids are home. There’s nothing worse than being teased by your pre-teen and 14 year old sons. So probably, I’ll just do some crunches and call it a day.
The boys are home. No school. Which means that I won’t get a lot of writing done, no matter how much I try. Because boys being in the house means, Momma must be available at all times. Right now they’re snuggled up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (which I think is totally awesome, dude.)
Right now, I’m off to cook ham & eggs for Fishdog. It’s his birthday, ya know. Pop over to my personal blog and wish him a happy day!
That is some serious ice. It may be heading my way. Eek. No you can’t workout properly with the kids home. Impossible.
