Well, today I am the closest to being Tigger I’m ever likely to be. How?
I spent $11.99 yesterday at Target buying an Ab Ball. I switched out my actual office chair and am now bouncing on my ab ball and typing blog posts, emails, etc. This is partially because I’m WAY too lazy to do actual situps and my abs are beyond the point of super pathetic. So I’m hoping the chair thing works.
Because I REALLY hate situps.
Has anyone else done this? Did it work?
I’ve never done that. I actually hula hoop while watching TV to whittle my waist and work on my abs. And of course Jillian Michaels’ 30 day Shred actually does work. I’m seeing lines on my abs I haven’t seen in years.
I have a yoga ball that I occasionally swap out for my normal office chair, when I feel that my posture is getting out of control. I’m not going to say that it has done anything wonderful for my abs, but it does help my back.
Kait that’s an interesting idea. I’m mostly a hula hoop #epicfail. Not because I can’t do it but because I get bored. This is why the ball thing is fun. I bounce for a bit. Then I get bored and stop. Then I bounce some more. At some point I’m certain I’ll feel guilty enough to do actual situps on the ball. That’s what I’m hoping for, anyway.
Rick, that’s definitely good to know, I certainly wouldn’t mind some back help either! I plan to do the ab ball thing as much as I can stand in hopes that it works. Let’s put it this way, at this point it certainly can’t hurt. LOL.
I’ve gotten so fat in the past few years that I’m afraid to buy a yoga/ab ball because I think I’ll pop it.
*sigh*
Stop laughing! It’s not funny.
I have one of those balls. I use it to do situps on. LOL sometimes. More so my kid just steals it and rolls it around like a giant bouncy ball.
dude, that ab ball would get pen knifed at the Donut factory. we’re vicious. And full of mockery.
I don’t have one and if I did, I think my girls would fight over it. It’s a good idea tho – we sit alot….
Let me know how you find it
Jen, see today’s post.
Shelli, sometimes I roll around on it too becuase it’s fun so I can’t really blame your kid. LOL.
CB well… yeah I can sort of relate.
Jodie, I can just see them playing with it. Great exercise!
