The summer is over.

The book has launched. (have you bought your two copies yet? why not?)

and now I’m back.

I’m officially down 35 lbs from January. I’m a happy girl about that. But I’m getting flabby because my workouts have been sparse and erratic. Need to get back to a regular routine.

It seems that setting small deadlines work for me. I hit my book launch deadline so now I’m going to set another one. -10 lbs in 7 weeks. Can I do it?

Sure I can. I’m going to get back to doing Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred at least 2 days a week, plus circuit training 2 days a week, and walking 3-4 days a week. The diet has to get better. I’m not eating too many calories, but I’m not eating good for me food either.

And then there’s the booze. (It’s always the booze, isn’t it?) Empty calories. So I’m cutting back again. Now that summer is over, giving up the beer will be a little easier. Red wine…not so much. 🙂

Anyone still out there? What’s been going on?

Woot! Congratulations on the 35 pounds! That’s gotta make you feel great. And you totally looked awesome at the book launch btw. I’m looking for some inducement to start the Shred again. I just haven’t managed to find the energy, enthusiasm, or will. I’ve been having trouble even finding the energy for my ministepper workout at work. Mostly I just feel like sleeping. I need the cool weather of FALL! That always makes me want to get out and walk.

Just bought the shred, herd such good thing and i love the biggest looser workouts in general so I am excited to start shredding. I also need to get back into running now that the weather is cooling off. Glad to see you back HZ!

I’m with you on the booze. I always try to cut the beer in the fall too. I’m back into running again, I joined a local running group at a running store that meets once a week for a group run and they give us a training sched to run the other days. We’re up to running 5 min and walking 30 sec. My second 5k ever is scheduled Oct. 10 and then I’m doing one on Oct. 31st which will be fun because costumes are encouraged!
