Have you ever noticed that workout motivation comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes I see fat people running on the street. They’re generally older then me/ heavier then me but there they are sweating like crazy and jogging along. Whenever I see that I look at myself sitting in my air conditioner car and think CK you need to move your ass.

If you’d asked me a week ago I would have told you my brilliant plan was to work out like a crazy person on March 9th (yesterday). It was the 6 month mark before my Disneyland half marathon. The reality? Notsomuch. I ended up doing some website stuff for a family member (yes I might need my head examined, thanks for asking) and next thing I knew it was 11:45pm. I didn’t even realize yesterday was the 9th until midnight. Damn.

Today, however is going to be a different story. I’m going to workout by the water, hopefully it will be a couple hours long and I can go from there. At this point the jogging thing is still pretty pathetic. My jog is actually about as fast as my walk so I’m not sure how that works but I’m trying not to give myself shin splints. Go me!

HZ how did the race packet thing go? did you get a timing chip?

And how are the rest of you doing? If you’re too shy to tell us here you can always email at crazy (at) fatchicksrunning.com we are really great at cheerleading!

My week 2/day 1 went great. My week 2/day 2 went crap because I spent my running time breaking my iPod. Tonight I have to go home and figure out how to use DH’s knock-off iPod so I can go do week 2/day 2 tomorrow.

I was so mad today that I ate a brownie and threw a small fit about my clothes not fitting. I REALLY wanted to run! And then I spent the evening at work browsing ebay for cheap smaller clothes instead of working. (I didn’t have any success.)

    Hey, you asked. 😉
