Well, I still have no medal so that’s an interesting kind of motivation.

Now that I have earned a medal it raises the bar. I know I can finish, next race I just have to finish while they still have awards. Which means I’ve now moved up to the psuedo-jog that HZ was so embarassed by back in the day.

But let me tell you I’m not actually embarassed to psuedo-jog. Nope, I’m getting fit and that’s a great thing. What I AM embarassed about is pseudo-jogging in spandex. Yeah, I did it.

That might actually deserve another medal.

I’m happily still in the land of Too Cold for Spandex. My sweats, however, are pretty sad. The KNEES are baggy, of all things. So I have these sweats that more or less look somewhat presentable except for big knee-shaped pouches.

I heart spandex. And trust me, you’ll heart it too, soon enough. Especially when you start to notice the changes in your nether regions. You’ll want to flaunt those regions in the tight pants of love. You’ll see.

I’m so proud of you. Faux-jog away baby! I’m still doing it. LOL

I’m strange, I admit it. I don’t like spandex on my legs and I can’t run/walk/workout in shorts.

I have a hard time believing I’ll ever like spandex. Many pounds from now when I’m in a flaunty mood I’ll be going around in a bikini. LOL.
