I ran for 25 minutes today, and walked for 40 for a total of 4.5 miles. Yesterday I walked between 5 & 6 miles in an hour and a half. I can walk for days.

I’m slowly but surely coming to the realization that no matter how much I want to be a ‘runner’ I’m just not.

Yes, I’m doing better. Yes, running 25 minutes is an accomplishment considering that in December I was struggling to run for 60 seconds. But still, I couldn’t push myself to run for a full 5K today. I made about 2.15 miles. So frustrating.

I guess these boots feet were just made for walking.

In other news, I’m down 17lbs. I’m still not losing many inches around my hips and thighs. So I’m starting to worry that I’ll go from hour glass to pear. Trust me when I say, that shit won’t last for long. Either my hips and thighs start melting off soon, or I’m making an appointment with a fat-suction doctor. I am not even kidding. I’ll sell a kidney to pay for it if I have to…

Of course, while I’m there, I might oughta go ahead and have him lift the girls up a bit…

  1. If you don’t want to run and you don’t enjoy it, then I don’t think you should do it. Walking is good, CLTB is good, Zumba is good. As long as you’re moving on a regular basis (which I should be but I’m not), then you’re moving in the right direction.
