This is not a post about food. Or booze. This about feeding another obsession. My love of workout clothes.

I’m really glad I’m broke right now because I’m having a very hard time not buying new things. Of course, I need these things. Desperately.

For instance, I NEED to buy a pair of running gloves. They’re different from regular gloves. They keep your hands warm but they allow your hands to breathe. We all know how important it is for your hands to breathe! Plus, I want to keep up the outside running when (if) it gets cold here…and the only way for me to do that is to have a pair of running gloves.

But then what do I do about my ears? They get cold, too. And I certainly can’t keep them warm with the baseball cap I’m always wearing.

Looky what I found. A light weight headband with reflectors! The reflectors are important now that we’ve fallen back an hour. Plus, my ears will be warm. And the headband happens to be cute, too! BONUS!

If I’m going to add to my new gear, I must consider adding another pair of running pants. Not just any old pants (like what I already own). No. The next pair of pants I must purchase must be appropriate to the sport.

For instance, did you know that there are ergonomically designed running pants available? Yes, you read that right…ergonomically designed pants. I would roll my eyes here, but the obsessive shopper in me is completely intrigued.

Nike® Women’s PB Knit Pant (a top seller at Dick’s Sporting Goods)

Strengthen your stride in the Nike® women’s Personal Best Knit Pant. 1. Showing this pictures to an infomercial junkie such as myself is tantamount to offering an alcoholic a shot of whiskey. Not fair! I have no money for these things, nor do I run outside, but now I want them. Especially the ergonomically designed pants.

I’m so feeling you Mel. I just brought 2 more pairs of pants. One with with the dri-fit deal. Can’t be all sweaty butt at the gym. The Nasal surgery went well. It was smoky and burning flesh. No running so far today. Now sure about tomorrow. This week is turning into a bust. Sigh.
