I failed my own math problem. And I mean FAILED.

Here is an example of how badly I failed:

Text to HZ around 8pm: How many Fun Size Snickers are too many?

HZ back to me: There is no such thing as too many, it’s Halloween.

Me back to HZ: I feel like I need to puke, is THAT too many?

HZ back to me: maybe.

This is what happens when I spend a week feeling like the chubby fool with my newfound running buddy the fanny pack. I feel like Keanu Reeves trying to live down Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (Why I don’t know, it was seriously funny).

Anyway, after a week of workout hell kickstarted by Billy “the sadist” Blanks I am still popping Advil like Chicklets and I hate this. A lot. What freaks me out even more is that this week I’m supposed to step it up a level and I’ve now lost the ability to discern whether I’m just crazy sore or if I pulled a muscle. That’s frustrating.

In that vein I think I might have to rethink this project. I’m very seriously considering repeating week one (this time without TaeBo…trust me it’s not for beginners) and trying this the right way, running first. It can’t hurt right?

do week one again…with no other stuff in between. I think that’s a very smart idea.

    I’m dreading week two.

I agree with HZ. Do week one again without the other stuff in between. Repeats are not bad. It’s not like summer school. Is the pain in one spot? If so ice and heat. Mayne you did pull a muscle. Freaking BB! I spent a few week with him when he first came out. He ruined me.
I’m still smarting over my three pound weight gain after 3 times running. That smarts. Ugh.

Isn’t week two basically a repeat of week one? Or no?

And I seriously blew the diet today. I stocked up on candy for the office (really, it was intended for the bosses!) and glommed down two-thirds of it – literally – AFTER I ate a large bag of chips. Not to mention, I haven’t and don’t feel like working out today – at all.

I’ve been assured it will get better though.

P.S. I love it – my code words are buffet depart! Pretty appropriate, wouldn’t you say? lol

I think that sounds good. Better to do week1 again than hurt yourself and spend a week bedridden or something. Exercise is exercise what ever week you’re doing. Go for it I say.

  5. I’ve seen a lot of folks on the Weight Watchers message board take twice a long for C25K as the program calls before because they run each week twice to gear up. The length of the journey is not as important as the destination, after all.

What “SheWhoWiis” said. It is much better to go with your body than to follo a program and hurt yourself.
