Okay I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. For example yesterday (Mon) I went to bed at 2am. Woke at 7:30am was out of the house by 8. Ran around all day doing things that needed to be done. Got home at 8:30PM. That’s 12 hours running around in my car. TWELVE HOURS. Guess what I did not do? Workout.

But before you all get upset let me further detail what I *did* do.

Breakfast meeting at Chick-Fil-A. She had a full breakfast including a biscuit (I LURVE biscuits). I had a coffee with one measly hazlenut creamer (and I love love love flavored creamer). And no sugar.

Breakfast lasted from 9am until noon at which time we parted ways. I raced over to my favorite place in the whole wide world. I actually ended up there FOUR times yesterday.

Side note: WHEN did we start getting charged salas tax on PHOTOCOPIES at Staples?  7.75%!!!

My bills from Staples: $2.41, $21.03, $59.67, $6.67 that doesn’t include the three things I had to get bound. I stood there for almost 2 hours and still paid $100+ in photocopies and binding. In Vegas $100 would have gotten me…a lot.

I then proceeded to run back and forth from different meetings. Managed to log 342 cell phone minutes used (viva free cell to cell) and drove somewhere in the vicinity of about 250 miles. All city driving. All within about a 20 mile radius. Moms of active kids? You have my heartfelt admiration. I was sick of my car and I didn’t even have any kids to slow me down or whine, I did all that on my own. It drove me completely utterly insane.

So today I woke up and went running. Yes, I ran in the morning. I’m feeling rather proud of myself and am delighted to be able to note that hell has not yet frozen over. WOOT!

On a side note I’d like to send some *virtual chicken noodle soup* to HZ who is getting her booty kicked by the flu. She’s all kinds of cranky pants and I’m pounding multiple glasses of THIS stuff just in case.

As for the rest of you. You are AWESOME. Even facing challenges (like my own personal setback…laziness) you are still jumping back on the wagon over and over again. YOU ROCK! WOOT!
