I received a gift today from my drycleaner. I use the term “my” loosely because I only wear dry clean only clothes when I absolutely have to (rarely) and then drag my feet for ages before actually dropping them at the cleaners. Apparently the drycleaner decided this was not a year to hold grudges and gave me my first ever New Year’s gift from someone whose name I don’t know and couldn’t pick out of a police line up.

Still, I’ll take it.

It’s kind of brilliant actually. So much better then a cheap calendar I’m never going to use.

As for those of you dying to know how I’m doing after my snow fest… I’m FINE. (side note. WOO HOOOOOO!) I took two Advil before bed last night and woke up feeling great. There is a little soreness in my quads but other then that I’m 100%.

This must bode well for my 1/2 marathon, right?

Today’s activity was considerably less intense. I walked on a treadmill for about an hour while listening to books on tape. It’s not as fun as music but it keeps me distracted. Whatever works right? I still can’t believe I’m going to walk 13.1 miles in about two weeks.  I am insane. I am so not ready.
