CarbKiller: Soooo Late

Happy um…Independence Day.

I probably would have blogged sooner but I looked at my cellphone pictures of the event and they weren’t very awe inspiring.

For example:

Kinda pathetic looking considering how awesome the real event actually was. Apparently I’m a horrible action photographer because it takes me a second of going “WOW!” with the crowd before I think to press the camera button. So I end up with a lot of post-action shots.

Still don’t believe me?

Or I do the shaky hand thing and ruin the moment.

But I just keep trying.

And though I never got any truly fantastic fireworks images of the sky lit up in celebratory glory.

I did manage to take this one.
